Nice to meet you!!
Hello, I'm Lesi, a dedicated product designer deeply rooted in UX principles. Currently, I'm enhancing my expertise through a Master's program in UX Research and Design at the University of Michigan. My academic path began at the University of Washington, where I delved into Human-Computer Interaction, laying a solid foundation for my product design career.
My educational journey has equipped me with a robust set of research and design skills, fueling my passion for crafting innovative solutions that seamlessly blend user needs with product features. I'm driven by the challenge of merging design with technology to elevate everyday life experiences.
As a lifelong learner, my curiosity knows no bounds. I am constantly on the quest to expand my skill set, embracing new tools and techniques in the ever-evolving world of design.
I Design With...
Empathy
I strive to understand users deeply, uncovering their needs and challenges to create intuitive and meaningful experiences.
Inclusivity
I ensure my work embraces diverse perspectives and abilities, creating accessible and equitable designs for everyone.
Questioning
I challenge assumptions by asking thoughtful questions to uncover deeper insights and solve the right problems.
Passion
I bring creativity and dedication to every project, crafting solutions that are both functional and delightful.
The Cities I Used To Live In
I’ve found that every city is unique, with its own people, landscapes, and culture. These diverse experiences have inspired my creativity and shaped how I approach design, allowing me to craft solutions that embrace different perspectives and stories.
Lifes Besides Designs...

Barista
I’m a coffee enthusiast who loves both brewing and enjoying coffee, especially crafting latte art. My favorite brand is Blue Bottle, whose design inspires me as much as their coffee.

Skiing & Hiking
My skiing journey started in Seattle, where I saw snow for the first time! Growing up in southern China, winters were snow-free, so that first snowy adventure hooked me on the slopes for life.

Travel
I love traveling whenever I can, soaking in different cultures, exploring local vibes, and always hunting for the best local coffee spots.

Jellycat Collector
I’m obsessed with Jellycat, especially their penguin series. I’m on a mission to collect all the holiday editions and one day decorate a huge Christmas tree with their adorable ornaments!
I Don’t Want to Be Defined!
People often assume that being introverted means being quiet or preferring to be alone.
For me, being introverted is a strength—it gives me a deeper sensitivity to emotions, allowing me to listen, observe, and truly understand others. It helps me connect meaningfully and fuels my ability to create thoughtful, empathetic designs.
Being an introvert isn't a weakness; it's a unique way for me to view the world and add value to my work.
